Our Steampunk Telegraph Office at Clockwork Alchemy 2014. The Telegraph Office has operated at every Clockwork Alchemy to date. |

For the weekend of March 12-14, 2009, we deployed the Aetheric Message Machine for the first time at the Nova Albion Steampunk Exhibition in Emeryville, California. |

In operation The Machine at the Exhibition. with all brass polished. Attendees sent messages to the machine by texting from a cell phone. The messages were printed and then hand-delivered within the Exhibition by uniformed messengers of the St. Clair Aeronauts.

Message processing Our busy operator cuts the messages apart, checks the name to which they are to be delivered, stamps them "Deliver by Hand", time and serial number stamps them, puts each message in a yellow envelope, and rings the brass desk bell for a messenger. |
